Renamed Instagram to @softmutedsignal and purged followers/following on 5 Jul 2026
On 5 July 2026 at around 19:00 (7:00 pm Sydney time), reports state Ms Kathleen Millar renamed her professional Instagram account from @kathleenactive to @softmutedsignal, removed the profile picture, and purged a significant number of followers and accounts she was following. The screenshot of the account at instagram.com/softmutedsignal shows the same account private with 70 posts, 766 followers and 893 following. @softmutedsignal became the live handle on 5 July and is now a previous handle after the later 6 July 2026 rename to @katness___.
